Not everyone comes from another piece of software. If you keep your clients in your phone's contacts — as most small salons do — you don't have to type two hundred records: you export your contacts and choose who comes in. It's done once, in five minutes.
And the part you don't have to police: ClaudIA sends no marketing at all to anyone you bring over from your contacts until that person writes to you or you create an appointment for them. It works on its own, with nothing to configure. Appointment reminders do go out, because that isn't marketing — what doesn't go out is anything commercial to somebody who never asked for it.
How it works
- In Clients you press «Import from phone» and the dashboard gives you the exact steps for your handset, one by one and with the button names as you actually see them.
- On Android: Contacts → the three dots ⋮ → «Import/Export» → «Export to .vcf file». On iPhone you go through icloud.com/contacts in Safari, because the Contacts app won't export them all.
- You upload that file and see your whole address book with EVERYTHING unticked, with a search box. You tick only your clients: the plumber, the bank and your suppliers stay out.
- The records you already had are never touched, and phone numbers are normalised on their own so WhatsApp and appointments find each client.
