At the counter there's no mouse and no time: there's someone waiting with their card in hand. Counter mode is ClaudIA's till drawn for a tablet: full screen, big buttons, and nothing to type that isn't a price or what the client hands over.
It's the same till, not a different one: same receipt, same numbering, same reports and same rules: wherever you have the till, you have the counter. It runs from the browser on any Android tablet or iPad, on a desktop touchscreen and on Android terminals with a built-in printer. It prints on any printer the device has installed, receipt printers included, and on a counter machine the paper can be set to come out without asking. What stays in the regular till: charging an appointment from the calendar, packages, refunds and the daily close.
How it works
- You open counter mode from the Till, or from its icon on the tablet's home screen: it installs like an app, with no browser bar.
- You tap services on their tiles and they go into the basket at their price; two taps are two units, and anything not on your list is typed into «Something else».
- You pick the payment method with a button; for cash you key in what the client gives you and the screen tells you the change.
- When you charge, the receipt goes out on its own through whichever delivery you have as default — printed, WhatsApp or email — and the three buttons stay there in case they want another.
