Taking payment is the one moment of the day when your calendar and your money have to talk to each other, and they almost always live in different programs: the appointment in one, the receipt in another, and someone reconciling by hand at night. In ClaudIA you charge the appointment that is already in the calendar, and the receipt comes from there.
Each currency is counted and balanced separately and they are never added together: a business taking dollars and the local currency sees both counts clean, along with the rate applied to each payment. Receipts are never edited — a correction is a new document, as any serious accounting rule requires — and the day's summary reaches your WhatsApp when you close. In Spain the receipt comes out the way its law requires — a simplified invoice with the business's tax number and the tax itemised, an invoice with the details of whoever asks for one, and a corrective invoice on refunds. The till is switched on business by business with the registration of your tax number, from the dashboard.
How it works
- You open the till at the start of the day and note how much you start with.
- You charge each appointment from its own card: one or several payment methods, with a tip if there is one.
- At the counter, the same till on a tablet: tiles with your services, an on-screen keypad and the change worked out.
- The receipt prints, goes out over WhatsApp or by email, with your business name on it.
- At close you count the cash and the till tells you whether it balances, currency by currency.
